This
idyllically situated hillside farmhouse in Tuscany, Italy, dates from the
15th century and has been fully and authentically restored.The house was
owned by the Bishop of Lucca as a summer retreat in early 19th century.
Its spacious interiors have been furnished very comfortably with period
furniture and it has all modern conveniences. The house is set in grounds
of about 40 acres and is surrounded by mature trees including olive groves,
chestnuts, cypresses and fruit trees. There are two shady meadows on the
high ground. The splendid 12 x 6 metre swimming pool is surrounded by patio
and grassy areas adjacent to the house. There are magnificent views of the
Apuan Alps from all aspects of the property.The spa town of Bagni di Lucca
is only 3 miles away. Mura di Sopra is available to rent throughout the
year.
